Terms of use

We run a website that takes your description of some damage and puts it in front of paintless dent repair businesses whose service area covers you.

We do not repair cars, and we do not employ the people who do. Each repairer is an independent business. When you approve a quote, you are contracting with that business — the price, the work, the warranty and any dispute are between the two of you. We are not a party to it.

Any figure you see on our pages is guidance, calculated from a default price list to show you roughly what work like yours tends to cost. It is not an offer and nobody is bound by it.

Your actual quote comes from the repairer, priced from their own rate book. A quote given from photographs alone comes as a range, because nobody can fix a price on a panel they have not seen under a light. The written quote you approve is the price that binds.

By sending a request, you are telling us that:

• the details you gave are yours to give, and are accurate
• you own the car or are allowed to arrange work on it
• you are happy for up to five repairers near you to be offered the job, and for the one who accepts to contact you
• the photographs are yours to send

The service is free to you, there is no card and no obligation. A repairer being told about your job is not you agreeing to anything.

• send requests for cars that do not exist, or that you have no connection to
• use the site to advertise to repairers, or to collect their details
• scrape, copy or republish the site's content or price guidance
• attempt to reach data belonging to other people, including by guessing tracking links

We take care that the site works and that your request reaches the right repairers. What we cannot do is stand behind work we did not carry out.

We are not liable for the standard, timing, price or outcome of a repair, for a repairer who does not call you, or for a repairer declining your job. If the site is down or a request does not reach anybody, our responsibility is limited to putting that right — and since the service costs you nothing, there is nothing to refund.

Nothing here limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, and nothing here excludes liability for our own fraud or gross negligence. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.

Using the repairer portal is covered by a separate subscription agreement, accepted when you create a business. In summary: you are the responsible party for your own customers' personal information and we are your operator, you price your own work, and you are responsible for the repairs you carry out and the tax documents you issue through the system.

These terms are governed by South African law, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
