Quoting on the phone and the licence-disc scanner

The Quote tab walks through five steps, with a bar at the bottom that tells you what's still missing.

1. 1The car. Press Scan the disc and point the camera at the square barcode on the licence disc. The app reads the registration, VIN, make, model and colour, then asks Is this the car? Nothing is saved until you confirm. No disc, or glare? No disc? Type it in.
2. 2Customer. Search by name, phone or registration, or add them with a name and (optional) phone.
3. 3Panels. Tap every damaged panel on the drawing. The body shape is guessed from the disc and can be changed.
4. 4Dents. Each panel is a tally sheet: tap − and + for each size, add Harder? extras, and take a close-up of the worst dent. Next panel walks clockwise round the car.
5. 5Price. Check the total and press Save & send quote. Then Send on WhatsApp.
