Recording payments and connecting Paystack

Recording a payment

Open the invoice (or find it in the Owing list) and press Record payment.
Enter the amount — or press Pay the full R… — choose EFT, Cash or Card machine, and add the bank reference if you have one.
Press Record payment. Part-payments are fine: the invoice shows Part paid until the balance is settled.

Taking card payments online

Customers pay into your own Paystack account — the money never passes through Dentz. Owners and admins set it up:

In Paystack, go to Settings → API Keys & Webhooks and copy your secret key.
In Dentz, open Settings → Payments, paste it and press Connect Paystack. We encrypt it and never show it again.
Copy the Webhook URL for Paystack that Dentz shows you and paste it into the same Paystack page. This is how a payment marks the invoice paid by itself.

From then on, invoices show Pay R… now, and approved quotes with a deposit offer Pay deposit.
