Your customers are your customers: you decide what to keep, and Dentz runs the software for you as your operator under POPIA. The two requests a customer can make are on their customer page under Record and privacy.
- Open the customer and expand Record and privacy.
- Export their data downloads everything you hold about them, to send however they asked (section 23).
- Erase at their request removes their name, number, email, address, photos and registration permanently (section 24). Type ERASE to confirm.
Unsubscribing
Marketing messages, like check-ins, carry an unsubscribe link. Once a customer unsubscribes, their email and number stop getting marketing from you — but quotes, invoices and repair reports still reach them.
